Mims Photography - studio established 1974 in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Mims Photography is equipped for studio and location photography of people,
products and architecture. From formal portraits to editorial shooting, table
top to industrial factories, we choose the correct camera format to achieve
your end use needs.
Our style leans more to the straightforward - looking for and seeing the beauty
in each person and the uniqueness of each product. Creating the right light
to capture these qualities in a photograph is our goal.
I believe I have the best job in the world. I am invited to the happy events,
a wedding, a family gathering, a new product or advertising campaign. It is
that joy that I bring to my work.
Every photograph is given my personal, careful attention. Each print is custom
cropped, color balanced and prepared. Minor retouching is always done and
major items like moving heads around can be done on a case by case basis.
